Drain Excavation

Drain excavation is a process used to deal with severe drainage problems where other processes can’t solve the problem.  This is the kind of damage that can be caused ground movement, flooding or root ingress among other issues and often leads to major problems around the home.

Our service for drain excavation starts with a drain survey.  This is where we use a CCTV system to look into the drains and see what kind of problems are hiding down there.  At this point, it may be that an excavation isn’t needed, and we always prefer to use other methods where possible.  But if the problem is serious enough, then we will look at excavating.

Situations that require an excavation including when other methods cannot solve the problem, or the pipe is old or in poor condition.  If the drain or pipe has collapsed or there are multiple leaks, then an excavation may be the only option.

We always use specialist equipment and aim to keep disruption to a minimum.  We can also work alongside other utilities such as gas and water safely to ensure no cuts to the property or extra costs involved.
