Am I responsible for the blocked drain?

Drains are a bit of a complicated area but generally, if the pipes are within your property’s boundaries and not shared, then you are responsible for them.  If they are shared, the water authority will handle it as well as any pipes under the road and off your property.

Can you clear all blocked drains?

Yes, we have a range of equipment including high pressure water cleaning systems to help clear any drain.  All of our engineers are also SVQ Level 3 mechanical engineering trained so they know what to do without risking causing more damage.

How much will it cost?

Can you carry out a drain survey?

Yes, we carry out drain testing or surveys to help you get an idea of the condition of your drains.  This is sometimes requested as part of selling or buying a house and can be good for general maintenance on older properties.

Can you repair without digging up the drains?

We always aim to clear drains without excavating and in many cases, we can do this.  However, there are situations where excavation is required, often if there is damage or collapse of the drains or problems with tree roots.
